On September 16, the "China-Pakistan Two-way Tourism Promotion Conference and China-Pakistan Two-way Tourism One-stop Service Platform Unveiling Ceremony" was held in the International Trade Centre of the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone. At the meeting, China and Pakistan promoted tourism resources, signed the "SCO National Tourism City Cooperation Initiative", and held the unveiling ceremony of the China-Pakistan two-way tourism one-stop service platform.

At the promotion event, Xu Hongwei, deputy inspector of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, introduced Qingdao's tourism resources from four aspects: openness, vitality, modernity and fashion. The representative of Pakistan expressed the hope to develop deeper tourism cooperation with Qingdao City and build a bridge of communication between the two peoples through tourism exchanges.

This promotion event promoted the close ties between Shandong Province and the sister provinces/cities of Punjab, Qingdao and Karachi, through two-way tourism promotion. The establishment of a one-stop service platform for China-Pakistan tourism provides a platform for mutual visits between Chinese and Pakistani citizens, from consultation to visas, tourism planning, route determination, travel insurance, shopping, and safety protection. China-Pakistan two-way tourism has opened up more convenient channels.

It is understood that in recent years, the Management Committee of the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone has made full use of the advantages of the SCO's national resources to continuously promote the business and travel cultural exchanges between China and Pakistan. At the beginning of this year, the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone Pakistan National Living Room was inaugurated; in April this year, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum "Qingdao Initiative" was released, which further strengthened the business, travel and cultural cooperation between China and Pakistan and other SCO countries. Promote various forms of cultural exchanges between cities. In July this year, at the opening ceremony of the "Summer of Shanghai Cooperation", Pakistani floats, food, performances and other activities were splendid. Recently, the first exhibition of Gandhara's Smile-Into Pakistan Series Exhibition was held.
